I just thought about this last night. When you have handwriting analysis and lockpicking, it only seems to follow that you should be able to determine either a suspect's handedness, or, be able to confirm or eliminate them as a match to your threatening notes, since you'll either find a journal or appointment book, both of which provide samples of the suspect's handwriting.

I'm not calling for a change here, since the system works just fine without it... but I was wondering if anyone else has thought of a similar situation where it seems like something would work but isnt written into the game.

i found that odd too when i was in lilangel and had both of those skills... right now i don't have lockpicking skill yet... but i will get that eventually... now that my skill points increase slowly.

*still thinks the person you are doing a favour for shouldn't clam on you as fast as the others*

I know it's been said before. Just saying it again.

Why is it that when I find 2 foot prints I can only ID one as being slim/heavy ?

You can identify both its just a coincidence that you have only been able to identify only 1.

Yeah...that's really unrealistic when you're carrying out a favor for a townie and this townie clams up fast. You wanna help him...he refuses to give any informations. A lil' change there would be more realistic and avoid to stupidly failing a favor (which are supposed to be easy for an experienced detective since it's apart from the harder cases)

Keep on saying it Crunch. Those favour folks are just plain rude. Ask for a favour - then clam up!
