DaRu and Moonshh, you're both absolutely right. Sometimes they fall into place, other times you get so close and fall short it'll make you scream, but the key really is teamwork. A few agents working together can make short work of a hunt, and that is not a bad thing, it's just reality. The Underground (and many other agencies) have put their time in and now they have a pretty well oiled machine and they reap the rewards. There is justice in the universe! :-)

i can see how it is done.. it makes sense if a number of people are online at once (or you have access to just as many) - i was just curious.. Either way - i dont have any problem with it as it is part of the game and thats the way it is.. I jsut wish our agency members were on enough to actually have a chance at that kind of teamwork!! :)

No, I'm almost certain that our agency didn't see any benefits from the unlimited cases bug. We just had all of our favors line up just right. It does take a lot of work to coordinate that many agents, whether you have a lot of players or each person plays a couple of agents. It does pay off in the hunts, especially the longer ones where you need a favor from most of the townsfolk at one point or another.

Would it be at all possible to make it so that a new hunt started as soon as the old on finished? to make it so that the hunts don't ALWAYS start at noon and midnight? (since as someone pointed out, not everyone is able to be on at those times)

Hmmm.....the system as it stands has been working very well for us at The Underground lately, but I must admit I kind of like Elsey's idea...possibly I might get a little more sleep that way, which might have a beneficial impact on the minor, unimportant non-sleuth aspect of my life....

On the other hand if you had a new hunt starting every time another finished, people within certain agencies would probably get even less sleep than they already do ;)

perhaps so, but if they put allllll thier effort into completing ONE hunt, likelyhood that they'll have enough cases to complete the one that starts right after that would be lower, so it gives other agencies the chance to complete one.

that is true - they only get 8 cases a day - and every time a hunt is completed that means they have a few less cases for the new hunt. It would make it more interesting for those of us who cant be on at the two times the hunts start.

Pretty sure they'd just find alternative ways of getting additional favours :)

I don't think the hunts should be changed. I agree with Chronestrian and say that if you're in a smaller agency you just need to up your game a bit. The larger agencies didn't get to where they are by random luck. I don't think anything shady is going on, I think it gives me something to work for...kind of like a goal. Besides that it's just a game, there is nothing wrong with friendly competition.
