Hi,

I would like to know if the contacts you have give you reliable informations about the suspects (exemple: Mr X has not heard anything)
If not, I think that's too bad because even though the contact cooperates and answers, if he "lies" that's not fair cause he confuses the issue.
Thanks in advance.

Mr. D,

All hints, no matter how many, given by the townies will always be accurate. You can count on that for sure. As well as any suspicions that the suspects give you.

If a townie says that Suspect John Doe has not seen or heard anything then you will not get any useful information from that suspect.

If a townie says that Susptect John Doe thinks he knows who the murderer is, John Doe may or may not fess up. However, if John Doe says he saw Jane Doe fleeing the scene of the crime, or some other type of Witness Evidence (WE), that will always be accurate.

Happy Sleuthing!

I'd like to stress that just because Suspect A saw Suspect B at the scene, does NOT mean that Suspect B actually is guilty. To be certain you have the guilty party with WE you need either

a) Two WE
b)WE+False or "none of your business" alibi.
