Hi,

I would like to know if the contacts you have give you reliable informations about the suspects (exemple: Mr X has not heard anything)
If not, I think that's too bad because even though the contact cooperates and answers, if he "lies" that's not fair cause he confuses the issue.
Thanks in advance.

Yes Donnie, and hints you get from the townies are accurate.

Now... bear in mind that if the Tailor says John Doe thinks he knows who the killer is, all that means is that John Doe definitely suspects someone, which is not always the actual killer. So in other words, if you have a hint that leads you to a piece of witness evidence against someone, make sure their alibi doesnt check out before you accuse.

Thank you guys for your answers. So, i want to make sure i understood perfectly: hints from townies are accurate. Usually you get 3 hints from 3 townies (if they don't clam up) Are the 3 hints accurate ?
I'm really sorry to insist but I realize I didn't know how to use the hints at all, cause I noticed that often, only one out of the 3 were reliable.
Let's say: one says "J doe hasn't heard or seen" J Doe won't give me any TRUE WE right ?
"J Doe think he knows who the murderer is" = J Doe is likely to give me a TRUE WE if I asked him right ?

Since I'm not English I can seem a bit half-retarded but I wanna be sure I know how to use all the clues the game provides.
Thanks again.

Mr. D,

All hints, no matter how many, given by the townies will always be accurate. You can count on that for sure. As well as any suspicions that the suspects give you.

If a townie says that Suspect John Doe has not seen or heard anything then you will not get any useful information from that suspect.

If a townie says that Susptect John Doe thinks he knows who the murderer is, John Doe may or may not fess up. However, if John Doe says he saw Jane Doe fleeing the scene of the crime, or some other type of Witness Evidence (WE), that will always be accurate.

Happy Sleuthing!

I'd like to stress that just because Suspect A saw Suspect B at the scene, does NOT mean that Suspect B actually is guilty. To be certain you have the guilty party with WE you need either

a) Two WE
b)WE+False or "none of your business" alibi.
