I realize its a random variable as to when suspects clam up, but I've had four cases in a row now where all my suspects have clammed up before I've gotten an alibi or even more suspects. And its impossible to solve a case when you don't even have the killer as an option. Hopefully this little streak of bad luck will clear up tomorrow and I'll be able to get back to actual solving cases rather then quiting constantly.

Oh, and the Child's play featured mystery is driving me crazy as well. I keep getting so close I'm almost certain I know how did it, but I'm jsut not skilled enough to get the info yet.

I think you'll find that asking for motives before asking for alibis will be your best bet.

Also, it may be time to upgrade your interview skills, if you can. If that means stepping back to an easier level so you can solve more and accumulate skill points, then do it--you'll find people clam up less and less often as your interview skills accumulate.

yeah, I think I'm gonna have to drop back. I've unlocked Really Really Hard, and have been try to do the really hard ones with about a 50% success rate. I'll have to drop back to Hard for a bit apparently.

That's a good call. It's better for you right now to be able to solve most of the hard cases, versus half of the RRH cases. Build you skills, and then move up.
