One of the places in London has always frustrated me with the possible clues.

Please vote:

Is the Fortune Teller in London:

1 - Close to the river?

2 - Not close to the river?

Oh hold on.

I've just discovered that there are two rivers (on the map) in New York, each being on opposite ends of each other. So, I was looking at the river on the east end, but blindly passed by the one of the west end. So, I've been wrong all along, and the Bartender seems to be the co-conspirator. Lucky I haven't yet captured that villain.

Moral: Always double-check to see if you've missed something crucial.

I'm just...just...writhing with jealousy. I want to do a Villan Hunt soooo bad. I only need another 24,830 XP. Soon. Yes, soon. After I burp and diaper the baby.

Well the Fortune Teller ia apparently close to the River.
How about the Banker in New York?
I'd say no.. but this is "Ben's Clues" not "Blue's Clues".
So while I'd like to take the lovely Ruby off my list, can someone, anyone give me some verification first?

I can offer corroboration, but sadly no verification :(

I'd absolutely say she's not close to the river.

So I solved my hunt by choosing that the fortune teller in London IS close to the river.

West of the Detective Shop
South of the Detective Shop
Is NOT close to the river

That only leaves the Pod and the Fortune Teller. I choose the Pod based on the info from this thread and was right.

So unless it changes from hunt to hunt or that clue is supposed to read 'closer to the river" this proves that the Fortune Teller IS close to the river.

Or it was just a lucky guess Ran.

What LilRach said pretty much says she was wrong based on that assumption I believe (if I read it correctly)

RAn,

I just checked and it was in London and a river clue that tripped me up on my last failed hunt. It seems the townies in London are amongst the most evasive in Sleuthville. Maybe second only to Delhi where the same clue is given over and over again.

I originally thought the Fortune Teller in London was not close to the river. I was down to the Fortune Teller and one other, so I eliminated the FT under that assumption. I was wrong. I lost my hunt, and it turned out it WAS the fortunte teller. At the time, I was quite livid. It was the last part of my hunt, and I had lost a lot of time and money.

So... long story made short, the Fortune Teller in London IS close to the river.

Hope this helps.

Lil
