We had an agent join, take equipment, take other agents cases, the quit. She then went to another agency (I warned them) and did the same. She is now onto her 3rd agency (again I have warned them) and I am sure she will do the same. Is there any other way to handle this? Somewhere I should report her? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It does seem to be a case a newbie not knowing what is possible.

I do hope that others read these and learn from others mistakes.

yeah but the vast majority of the time stealing isn't a really widespread issue - the individual lockers thing would lead to a lot of replicated gear, which is probably not the most efficient use of collective resources.

O.K., I am an agent with Bella Mafia, and I feel that I need to respond to Annabella's excuses for what she did. I don't really know much about her situation with the equipment, so I won't comment about that. However, I do know that she took every single case of mine out of the case files almost as soon as I put them in and solved them after I repeatedly asked her not to do that. I find it hard to believe that it was just a mistake, as she did it over and over. Since I know that part of her explanation was untrue, I find it difficult to believe the rest.

Agree with Lia - I'm another Bella Mafia agent she took cases from. There's not understanding, and then there's making up your own rules. I hope Anabella can manage to "enjoy the game" with her new agency without spoiling it for the people's she's supposed to be working with.

OK, that was depressing. Must be time for chocolate :)

Oscar, without knowing the details of your agency. One way to help prevent catastrophic equipment losses is to only allow a small amount of equipment to agents and keep most equipment at the officer level with special items reserved for Directors only. I know it can be hard to do in a small agency that may not have 2-3 sets of Smart gear, but in the long run it's worthwhile.

With the equipment limited an agent who steals from you shouldn't be able to deal you a mortal blow.

The second part to this of course is being carefull about who you promote to Officer status, and being as sure as you can that someone is trustworthy before promoting them to Officer.

*Note - While I am in the agency that Anabella is in, I rejoined Sleuth and the Agency after she had been admitted.

I *really* think it's time we let this thread die.

hooray for a post that even >>> I <<< find absurdly random. There's at least one age thread if you go through the archive a bit. Happy hunting.
