quitting faction cases

I thought that if you quit a case where you got a twist saying "faction would like to see this matter go away" you would get an added point to that faction.
I just did this and had no change to the positve (the other factions went down but nothing went up)
is this a bug? Or did I just waste a case? I think I need a can of raid...

Ms. astroldetective,
A change was made recently that reversed the politics as stated if you quit the case. For example, if your case was + Order of Socrates and - Green Hand if solved you would get - Order of Socrates and + Green Hand if you quit.

Thats what I thought, but using your example, I did receive the - order of socrates but not + green hand (before and after quitting green hand remained at - 1)
