Overdue books and Packages

Will I ever get anything more than the said amount of money for collecting overdue books and delivering packages? Or is it only helpful (financially) if I am already planning to travel to that city?

you won't be able to quit your day job as a detective and make a living running mysterious packages around the globe. And although the reward for returning a library book is huge compared to anything any library ever offered me, it stays the same.

Oh, I was hoping that after five books (or whatever) I would get something else. Guess not.

Missions will stay in your detective page for ever. soi just wait till you have to travel to that city anyway.
