My dad had to shoot my mom's horse yesterday. She was 30 years old and her front legs were bent out from arthritis. She got to where if she laid down she'd lay there for hours before she could get up again. To top it all off, my mom's dog was attacked by a coyote not to long ago, and though (excuse me for this) though she fought her damnedest, she went into cardiac arrest an died at the vet's. We got a new puppy though. Any one else lost or gained a pet recently?

sorry for my sorrow. Hugs and thanks to those who post.

I lost a rabbit. he was only 9 months old. He escaped from his cage and the dog tried to play with him. He died of fright. I'm so thankful to all of you. (tears of happines and sorrow.) HUGS

My dog Wilma (yes the one from the Flinstones... my dad named her) died when I was just five and I loved her alot. Now 10 years later I finally have a great fat cat.
Even though I was five my dog was like my best friend and I still miss her sometimes.
Big Huges and I hope you feel better =).
