I just got this cutscene where my character was talking to pansy dew(?) and my character said she didnt think that one of the suspects were guilty. is this a hint, or should i just ignore it and continue playing as usual?

And I've had a cut scene that mentioned another person (probably the same one with the bloody picture, come to think of it). That's helped when I haven't had all my suspects IDed yet. Saved $20 on the fortune teller.

Hosn... I don't know about that one... The only twists I know about and that have had any publicity are the Magnifying Glass lady and the one mentioned below (might be the same one you mention I can't rem. but otherwise I'd say the jury is out)

E. Hosn, there are 2 different "resolutions" to the bloody picture cutscene. It shows a different one depending on whether or not the named suspect was guilty. In other words, that scene doesn't necessarily imply that the named suspect is guilty or innocent. However, the change has been made recently that the named suspect will be added to your list without a motive, so yes, that cutscene now (sometimes) has an "effect" on your case.

Hosn, what Serges is saying is that the ending you are talking about there is not the only one possible when you have that cutscene in a case. There is another ending that comes up when the person whose photo you saw turns out to be guilty.

I used to think that too, and even asked about it when I was pretty new here:

The good people of sleuthville straightened me out, and since then I've had MANY cases in which Dreamy McPhotosuspect turned out guilty, I promise :)

Wish I had read the more recent posts about the different outcomes to the bloody-photo cut scene because I eliminated a suspect based on the scene, only to wind up with a false accusation. Time to visit Shady!
