I've had two cases where my cousin, with the same name, Nosveli is a suspect in his brother's murder. One case, he was with me at the time the bro was killed, but was still seen as not having an alibi. I guess he could have done it and said hey.. let's go for a walk! Not to mention the recurrence of character names (I'd swear they should be in prison, or dead). I guess it's the whole ummm what's the word.. random thing..?

I've gotten a few like these today:
“Of course,” she replied with some hesitation, “my Daughter had been out with some friends, and despite my waiting up all night for him, he hadn’t come home.”
“And your Daughter is now?” I tried to sound interested.
“He, he is still missing… I tried to go to the police, but they just told me to wait around until he shows up.”

That sounds like one of the player-written intros where someone messed up with the pronoun variables. It happens. Send a report to Ben when you get them, and then they will eventually get fixed!

"Worst of all, they pretty much all fingered each other, and I never did find a single piece of witness testimony that fingered the women that had fake alibis. I had to use physical evidence [I think it was a hair, I can't recall] after a few billion interrogations. Yikes."
Maybe my mind is too hopelessly lost in a puerile gutter, but I find this to be hilarious out of context.

Hee hee. The victim was a Bedenbaugh. He had a sister named Erica, a mother named Eunice, and Martin Bedenbaugh was . . . his friend?

I had a case a couple of days ago where my client was an ex-lover who'd jilted me (per the intro)...and then I made the mistake of falling in love with him AGAIN during the case. And I thought I was a Very Smart detective!

Oh, and I once had a suspect named Cyrus Tibby...with the bartender as an alibi!

Last case I had today, all suspects had the bartender as alibi. I've never been so grateful for having him as a contact. Damn, what a party it must've been too!
Also, today I figured I'd try a "really, really hard" case (I have problems with Intermediate, since I don't have many charm skills :/ ). I get the first two persons (Blanche - the client, and Keith, the one my client suspects). Head to the scene and find two notes and a hair (right handed on both notes). Ask Keith if he has an alibi, he clams up (jolly good fun, really), sweet talk him into admitting that he doesn't have one... Decide that I can check if it's his hair or not, which it IS! Head to the bartender to see if I can get some heads up on anyone else, and he says that Blanche thinks he (or if it was a she) knows who the murderer is. Head over to Blanche, asks if she thinks it's Keith... She clams up, but I sweet talk her into admitting that yes, she does believe that it is Keith.
Fastest case ever, for me. Lucky or what?
