The Waiter, Maria Seaver is very grateful for your help. As a reward, Maria gave you a Shriveled Monkey Paw.
You already have a Shriveled Monkey Paw and a Shriveled Monkey Paw so you'll have to sell one of them, or store one in your agency's equipment locker.

I just had one that the three pieces of evidence were 2 threads from female clothing, and a straight hair.
Of my four suspects with fake alibis, 2 were curly haired men. Made for much easier solving! :)

*Potential Spoiler*
In the opening scenes of the third featured mystery, "Clutch of the Green Specter", the detective finds himself trapped on the wrong side of a padlocked gate witnessing the murder happen 30 feet away. At this point I wondered why I bothered carrying not one, but TWO snub-nosed revolvers, if I wasn't going to use them.
