I was just perusing the weekly high scorers (wow! you guys are amazing...) and was wondering just how it is possible to complete so many cases (200+!) in one week. By my count, 7X12 is 84, plus maybe another 4 favors per day - that still only makes 112, if you solved everything. Where are the other 100+ cases coming from?

And for the record, no ones comment should be looked down upon. We all are all different and have different opinions of whats right and wrong! So everyone's opinion should be respected and is by me.

So is the concern about and unsubscribed player being on the high scores for the week or anyone being high for the week? Did you notice when the sub ran out? And I would also like to clarify the Serges and biggie are not speaking for everyone. We all have opinions and I personally do not totally agree with eveyones. This issue does not bother me enough to quit paying or playing. My concern is that people will look at these scores and think that it is all that matters in the game of sleuth. If we had done that in the beggining then none of us would be playing today. I have recently left Eye Spy which by the way started at the bottom and worked very hard to get to the top. This thread is making it sound like the numbers are all that matter and that is not how it should be. I am sorry that people feel like they are nothing if they are not at the top and that is sad. You should all be proud of yourselves and play and enjoy the game.

Jas I'm not looking down on your comment, first of all, or your opinion. Sorry if it came off that way, I really am. I was referring to unsubbed detectives in that example.

No one is disparaging your opinion, jasNmushu, just pointing out the connotation and implications your comment carried in light of the current discussion.

I felt as though your comment was essentially telling me that my presence and money were not welcome here. And I was insulted by the implication, not what was most likely your intention.

Ok, well that's fine but wouldnt it be easier if you email Ben about your concearns rather than post it her? Ben doesnt always read the boards, and it would probably be a much more effective way of getting your point across?

Moving all the boards into Ben's inbox would be... problematic, I imagine.

Serges if you felt I was insulting you by saying that if your not having fun to move on, than that must mean your not having fun. If however you are having fun, than I dont see how you would think that.

Ok, since this is starting to get heated, I'm going to take a step back, I just wanted to say that since I didn't see Carrie's post before I posted my last one, I am not and have not ever claimed to be speaking for anyone but myself. Being number one would be nice, but I'm nowhere close to that in any possible example here, so thats sort of a moot point.

Jas, it seems like you are suggesting that game-related discussion and debate are fruitless if they are on the message boards and not voiced directly to the game's creator.

Yes, emailing Ben would ensure that he hears your opinion. But as this is a community, and the sense of "community" is fostered by open and frank discussion about anything and everything from experience points to body parts and ponies.

I'm sorry if you feel this discussion/debate isn't worth discussing/debating in public, but everyone who has posted on this issue has shown they feel that it is, otherwise they would just lurk and not further it.
