You've been there before ---- Sleuth!
you walked thru that very door ----Sleuth!
the guy who did a crime --- you thought
the guy who killed his brother --- you thought

no guts to look in his eyes
all you can feel is his despise
for you are so to blame
for you ought to be ashamed

YOU FALSELY ACCUSED SOMEONE!
YOU FALSELY ACCUSED SOMEONE!

Refrain

PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
It's an easy rule to live by
something you should hold so tight
say it like a prayer
sing it like a mantra
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!

Look at what a mess you brought yourself in
how will you ever start again
you were gonna put this guy in jail
his alibi seemed a fairy tale
you thought you had it figured out
but now you better shout

PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
It's an easy rule to live by
something you should hold so tight
say it like a prayer
sing it like a mantra
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!

you falsely accused an innocent man
you acted like a charlatan
for you no benefit of the doubt
you're so judgmental so damn proud
fighting crime is your drive
now you ruined someone's life
you didn't remember a simple rule
and pushed that button you bloody fool!

PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!
PE + WE + No Alibi = guilty!

If I'm not mistaken a suspect will never have two pieces of evidence linking them to the crime scene. Useful when you already made an identification.

I need some help deciding if this is true or not. You have identified a piece of evidence to someone who you don't have an alibi for. They go into hiding. The suspect is guilty. Is that true?

Not necessarily yoyo if you don't have an alibi (I'm assuming that you don't mean NO alibi, just a clammed one).

I recall having read that motives and relation have no relevance to how the crime scene looks, but I'm keeping record and I'm starting to see logical patterns. Can anyone correct me before I lose my mind completely, or should I continue and post what I've found out here?

*corrects you with a free gift certificate for $18 worth of electroshock therapy, courtesy of your local purveyor of bootlegged duracell batteries, and a mouthful of Bolivian antipsychotics*

I promise you there are no patterns between the appearance of the crime scene and anything. All the crime scene does is provide you with PE and its degree of detail. That can help you prioritize questions, but not much more. The whole game kinda runs that way. I can't tell you the amount of times I've been 99.99% sure that a goatee meant a guilty.

That said, i for one would like to see whatever pattern you've found :)

Heh.. ok then. I'll finish the work and post it in a separate thread to make sure no one gets any ideas. :)

Oh and when you count cases to get favours even cases you just *finish* counts. So if for example a team mate at your agency gives you a case to wrap up it will count towards a favour, even if the only thing you do is open the case and accuse the guilty suspect.
