has anyone else had this happen to them .I just got hostage negotiations so I thought I would see what it said when I talked to pirates ,I had no games left so I tried to travel to Cairo. I am now in Cairo and I have minus 2 games left for the day?????

Yep it happened to my other detective last night. Same thing I just wanted to see what it would say and I found myself in Cairo with minus cases.

I may be way off here, but doesn't it cost 2 cases to get to Cairo? Would that be why when you get to Cairo you have 2 cases less than before?

To clarify I was at zero cases when I tried to go and am now at minus 2

I have heard that there are some bugs over in Cairo that are being fixed. This might be one of them--I'd submit a bug report anyway. And it will be interesting to see if tomorrow you have 10 cases or 12.
