Ok I have over $900 which should I buy a Tweed coat or a Fedora? OR.... should I wait and save up for something else? I am a Smart-Charming, and have a magnifying glass and an umbrella.
Thanks

I would earn a little more money first so you have plenty left after a purchase in case you need to bribe anyone for information. Plus, in the interim, you may get another favor and earn a headwear item. Then, you can always sell the headwear item, or whatever item, to upgrade to something better. When you're still doing easy and intermediate cases, you don't need to have as much stuff worth high skill levels.

When you do start deciding to trade and/or buy, I would try to accumulate items that add to your charm and smarts.

Right on target, Clarice! Plus you never know when you might need to visit the shady character - and he gets greedier every day!!

Another tip on Shady is that he charges exactly the same to fix two cases as one, so if your nerves can handle it, never go to him til you have two FA's

Torrey, I wondered about that. I am glad to know.
