i read the first instalment of the agatha christie book and it said i got 4 skill points and 80 experience but those points are not present on my detective screen. does anybody know why?

As far as I've read from Ben's posts, you only get experience points for "reading" a book the very first time (opening it.) I don't believe you get any skill points.

I would assume that's why you haven't seen the 4 extra points added.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I would LOVE skill points for reading!

I think that fionacon got skill points because she is a relatively new detective and at the stage where 80 exp translates to 4 skill points. As for why they don't shop, try switching screens and coming back to your detective page and see if the info updates. If not, you could try contacting the admins.

I got an Arthur Morrison book and aside from the exp I got 1 skill point.
