Faction Standing

Assume I'm working for the Eastern Triads faction skill. I know that I only do "little jobs" for ET - were I to do a "little job" for another faction, my ET faction points wouldn't increase overnight. I also know that solving a case ET wants solved increases my faction points by 1, as does quitting a case ET wants to see "go away".
QUESTION: Would solving a case with 2 other faction standings (for instance, Order of Socrates pos. and Circle of Light neg.) have any negative effect on my ET standing, specifically on the points that accrue overnight? Thanks for the help!

No. There would be no effect at all on your ET standing.

Thank you, that's what I thought, but being pressed for time didn't want to wake up tomorrow disappointed :>

Hawkeye your Faction points go DOWN overnight or stay the same, they do not accrue (or go up).

Just to clarify that minor point.

Hmmm .... for some reason I thought I had logged off at night with one amount then logged on in the morning and it was higher - this is before doing the little job again of course. Well, no problem either way, I'll get there eventually - thanks for the info!
