Registration is NOW being accepted for the October 10th beta test of the Dart Leagues in the AVL ("Arch Villain League").

I need 36 volunteers total to test everything, with the following stipulations:

2 sets of 6 detectives from the same agency (6 Hitchhikers & 6 Sirens, for example)

4 sets of 3 detectives from the same agency (3 Omega, 3 Blood & Dagger, 3 Fat Kitten, 3 SMRT Investigations, for example)

2 sets of 3-man teams regardless of agency affiliation

6 testers who will be teamed up at random.

If you are interested in learning about the AVL or becoming a Beta-Tester, please go to:

www.liquidkourage.net/sleuth

for more information.

If you have already talked to me about being a beta-tester, please PM me for your favlidation code.

Dasuo, you'll need to be subscribed to take part in the AVL and the Villain Hunts are for people who are little more experienced than you (as well as being subscribed), as you have to be able to do Almost Impossible cases. :)

Don't let that curb your enthusiasm as the AVL is a great idea, and when you're subscribed and experienced I look forward to whipping your team's butt :)

Ahh Pearl he can only dream of being on SS's team, as I do :)

Listen I just wanted to let everyone know, we are progressing along nicely to gamma, but a couple things I just wanted to clarify so everyone understood....

a) Registering for the AVL does NOT mean that you are signing up to participate in gamma, you are free to play or not play if you choose. I encourage everyone to at least register, so you can check out some of the features, see what its all about, etc.

b) Participating in the AVL does not mean you're doing extra work. In fact, all you are doing is working an AV hunt like any other :)

c) any of us Admins are always available to answer questions if you have them, so please feel free to pm any of us

Can't wait to see all your names on the site!

Welcome aboard the USS Enterprise, our continuing mission is to explore this primitive planet called Earth and engage in contact with its lifeforms. We have currently been asked by Starfleet command to form an away team with the dangerous mission of catching archvillians who threaten the stability of the local area we have been monitoring for the last year. You have been selected as potential candidates for our away team.

JOIN THE AWAY TEAM TODAY!

Looks at the recruiting board.

Hmmm, SS is looking for people but that position with Chelsea looks awfully tempting. Wonder what my old Hunt Mistress partner will be offering up?

Hehehe guys, nice to see everyone clamoring for spots :)

Just as another heads up, team registration will be starting soon, the Test Match showing in the AVL right now is for testing purposes only. Any teams created will have to be re-created once the registration begins (feel free to PM Serges for a date lol)

I can only offer the use of my trusty whip. It seems to work fairly well with my team mates at HHs, even if it seems less useful with my AVL partners.

Maybe I should point out that I have taken some lessons and can now crack it to the tune of "These Boots Are Made for Walking".

I signed up for the AVL, but only got to the main page and everything else seems to be under construction. I didnt see a message board or anyplace I could join a team. Is there an instruction page that I totally missed?

I'm currently seeing that too Roamie. It might be a side effect of my hosting company's bandwidth restrictions and the fact that I spend about 6 hours a night uploading changes.

I've noticed it before on some days, but it tends to open back up after a few hours.

*sigh* I suppose it's the result of a bargain-basement hosting company.

Sorry you can't get on there for the time being... just cross your fingers like I do and hope that my sleep-deprived programming skills didn't somehow crash the server :)

Hey all!

UPDATE: The AVL message boards should be up and running tomorrow sometime, so make sure you log in to check them out, post something, ask questions or whatever you need :)

Also, thank Serges for his ridiculously dedicated self in getting these up and running so quickly!

Thanks!
