Ouch, that's a nasty one. I suppose if it came to it, losing Rome. Rome spread its culture and architecture, so something would remain, but there's only one Venice.

As much as I enjoy plopping on the couch or in the theatre to watch a movie, nothing tops the escapism and act of conjuring up images that reading allows. Always read the book first :)

Zebras of course! They're fashionably monochrome (very Noir) and they inspired the zebra crossing. Nothing against horses though.

Hummus every time. I'm practically an addict, and one of my New Year's resolutions is to learn how to make my own.

They're not terribly different, are they? But I'll go for thumbnails as they make a slightly bigger statement and have a bit more clarity on the page.
