Gustavus Adolphus - a king SHOULD lead his own armies in battle. In fact, I believe that all national leaders today should be expected to do so ...Bush and Blair would not have been so keen on war if they knew they had to be right there at the battlefront.

A well-played loss. There is always some degree of luck involved in winning or losing. Better to maintain a high skill level rather than lower your standards and rely entirely on chance and good fortune.
