There are two common requests that we can tackle simultaneously. The first is that people want to submit their own picture to use as their detective's avatar. The second is that there are not enough different suspect pictures.

So, if you would like to submit your own picture, I can set that as your avatar. In exchange, I would like to add those pictures to the pool of possible suspect pics. I'll set it up so that nobody else will be able to use your picture for their detective, but your face will make appearances in the various cases in the game.

I don't want to automate the process because then people will upload all kinds of junk that would detract from the game.

I'll take care of the cropping, resizing and desaturating. By sending in photos, you are granting permission for use in this game.

The last update was mid week. Mine and Jstkdn's as well as a few others were changed then. Since Ben is away on business this week it may be until next week before any more are changed.

Wow I didn't realize I was supposed to include the URL...wait maybe I did...I can't remember!! How will one know if one's picture is unacceptable, will I be sent a PM or email?

give it time and ben will let you know. If I remember right he said this isnt a priority. He also said somewhere that hell be out of town.

Oh boy - Thanks, James Lee - I'll have to tell my wife that someone thinks I look like Giles....

Would this be a bad time to mention that I am, in fact, a librarian?

And its nice to see a whole new batch of photos in the game, over the last day or two - thanks to everyone who's sending them, and thanks to Ben for adding them!
