If a person's alibi is real, they didn't commit the crime. If someone gives you witness evidence on a person whose alibi is real, it can't be right. If all of your suspects and the townies are clammed, there's pretty much nothing you can do. Are all the other townies clammed up? You might want to ask them if they've heard anything about the case. If you get new suspects, ask them about the other suspects; you shouldn't have to worry about motives too much. It looks like you have quite a lot of fake alibis and no alibis already.
