2000 skill points!!! You must have been playing for ages cause I'm nowhere near that and i'm over 4 million in exp points.

The thing with skill points is that they require more and more exp. with every passing point. So the more exp you have, the longer and more cases you'll have to do to get a skill point. For myself, I may have to do about 10 Almost impossible (give or take) case to get a single skill point.

Hope this helps.

Dark.

I think she means 2000 exp points not skill points.
Could be that both detectives chose different time of switching to the next level.

Sleuth Lover, as the others have said, the higher your experience points, the harder it is to earn skill points. So choose your skills very carefully! In the beginnning I found research and my analysis skills to be important, plus the questioning skills (I'm a tough archetype so I needed the interrogation and intimidation skills). I sought advice from more experienced players (via the message boards and my agency) when I first started and that helped greatly.

but what I'm saying is, before the expansion I was still getting like 2 skill points for a really hard level...and I had 2000 ex, and now I have 2000 ex and I only get one...

Then you must have suffered a glitch in the system. You were lucky and it is definately not supposed to be that way.
