Okay, I'm dense and I play at 2 am so I'm even more slow, but I DO not understand how this change with quitting cases is going to effect my status with the factions. I used to be able to drop out of the case and nothing would change.

Now it changes??? and HOW??

Patience with the elderly, please. Over 45 and senilty not far off.

It used to be like this. For example if your standings were this:
LCN: 10
TAB: 1
OsS: 3
And you get a case that says: your standing with LCN will improve, TAB would like to see the whole thing go away.
If you solve the case, this is the result
LCN: 11
TAB: 2
OoS: 3
If youq uit the case, it used ti be nothing would change. Now, if you quite the case, this is the result"
LCN:9
TAB: 4
OoS: 3

Okay, if you quit a faction case now, the effect will be the opposite if the one the lady with the spy glass tells you. F.ex. if it says Order will go up and Cosa down - then it'll be Cosa up, Order down if you quit it :)

It changed when the expansion came out.

(whisper: we also have more cases now, 12 instead of 10)

There is this whole Villain Hunt think Reda. It seems rather quick and easy. You might want to try it out. How about Delhi? I hear good things about hunts there.
