This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

You have the power to make objects move at will. Problem is that you haven't quite fine tuned it so at times these objects fly towards you at great speed and smack you rather painfully causing several bruises and small injuries. People in the street stare at you with pity in their eyes thinking you're a battered wife.

You soar through the skies with Santa. It's a bit crowded up there - every single elf has come along for their post-Christmas party jaunt and they're all singing 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', over and over, out of tune. After the forty-third repetition your brain is threatening to dribble out through your ears. Plus you don't know what the reindeer have been eating, but the results are pretty pungent.

I wish it was impossible to catch more than one cold in a twelve-month period.

Wish granted. However, with climate change and all we are more confronted with other nasty stuff such as malaria and yellow fever.

I wish Harry and Meghan became adults.
