This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

Your wish is granted. But the test screenings are a failure. Audiences are completely bored with CGI movies and want something new. The movie is never released.

I wish I could speed read and get through 5 times as many books each year.

You can speed read, but only really awful books that do not enrich your life at all and are boring.

I wish I could find a good non-dairy nacho/queso cheese to get me my fix without giving me an allergic reaction.

Dogs rule the world, but cats secretly control them and pull their strings from behind the scenes. So dog owners are put at a disadvantage.

I am now better at corrupting wishes. However, you'll never be able to tell because if I used my full-blown-wish-corrupting powers no one would ever want to post on this thread again.

I wish my husband wasn't as handsome, intelligent or kind as he is.
