This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

Your wish has been granted, unfortunately it is the Canadian Football League instead of the NFL...

I wish I had more time for the project I'm working on

Granted. Time slows down so that you can have as much time as you want. Unfortunately, you procrastinate so much that by the time you finish, you emerge from time-retarded room at the age of 80.

I wish work were as addictive as Sleuth.

You are as addictive as sleuth, in fact you are more addictive and become so bad that you are declared public enemy #1 in 8 countries.

You are a little bar of soap. You're used to wash up a fungal & flea-infested dog. You're slippy and slidey all over the dog's lumpies, mixing up with those blood-sucking thingeys. And eventually, like any other bar of soap, you just dissolve down the drain into the sewage system.

I wish ctown28 had read my wish more carefully, which was for my WORK rather than me to be the addictive one. (Although, I don't mind as much the wish he did grant me.)

ctown28 reads your wish more carefully and begins the process of granting and corrupting only to be perpetually interrupted by spitballs that someone is throwing on him to get his attention. Sadly for you and your employers you never suffer from an addiction to work, happily though for your family and friends.

I wish there was a cure for my Cow Ward addiction.

You have been cured of your Cow Ward addiction by the anti-addiction medicine. However, side effects include, drowsiness, hairy ears, sneezing and headaches.

I wish I never had to pay bills.

*poof* As a penguin there are no bills to pay. Cold ass, fish breath, and the chance of being polar bear hors d'oeuvres, but definitely no bills.

I wish I had an extra couple of arms & hands.

Granted, but they look like tentacles and scientists kidnap you to do experiments on you to see what you are...

I wish I could find a better looking avatar (for my character, I mean)

You do stop saying stupid things. In fact everything you now say is extremely intelligent. For example your conversations would go something like this:

ctown28: It would behoove you and enormously benefit your pre-adolescent axiological development if you would promptly return to the locus of your regular nocturnal somnolence and remain there until my paternal judgement has determined that a sufficient temporal interval has transpired. For failure to do so would consequence in such atrophy of your ethical acumen, leading to your near certain incapacity to comprehend the communal contract between yourself and the totality of your fellow homonids and to competently navigate the associated social topography, resulting in your inability and delinquincy in adequately disbursing your pecuniary necessities, and ultimately culminating in your detention for reprobate and felonious activities undertaken naturally because of all the aforementioned deficits.

ctown jr.: Mommy, what's daddy saying?

Mrs. ctown: He's telling you to go to your room dear.

I wish the weather here would stop sucking.
