This is a very simple and fun game. The first person makes a wish, and each following person finds some way to corrupt the wish and then makes a new wish. For example:

Person 1. I wish I had a dog

Person 2. You have a dog, but it dies the day after you get it

I wish I had a muffin

Person 3: You get a muffin, but you drop it and have to throw it away.

And so on.

Your firt wish to corrupt is this:

I wish I had a new car.

You'll become an actor, but the movies you'll act in will be so bad that no one will want to see them and you'll have to feed your family on the streets while people point at you and say "Hey, isn't that Bill Oakes, the actor who never was?"

Anywho... I wish I were a bestselling mystery-fiction writer.

Gas prices are lower, but the world has turned into a totalitarian state ruled by women and where men are not allowed to buy or use transport. Gas prices are now irrelevant to you.

Ran a calendar month is named in your honour, but it's a calendar used only by a reclusive West African tribe who are soon wiped out by the common cold you carried to then your visit. Their calendar, and your achievement, dies with them.
