Saw this news headline today and could not resist posting here for those of us who have worked all those cases in Shanghai.

LOL! I sometimes work cases in a "bleary-eyed" state (translated, late :>) and I have to squint at the screen to make out Huan Yie, Huan Yue, Chin Jie, etc. Whatever happened to Jack and Jill? :D
(or Bob Carol Ted Alice - showing my age here!)

Being that agency headquarters is based in Shanghai, I, obviously, do alot of shanghai cases, and I am still not used to the names. They are all alike, for the most part anyway. Makes me use my brain more than I want to sometimes lol No wonder I get alot of headaches *grin*

I just worked a few, and I started laughing at the combinations - you'll have "normal" names like Don Wu, Bing Quin, Yue Wan Cui, then comes "Bevis" (I'm guessing that's not true Shanghai-ese :>)
