I noticed that we lost the notation for Missions from our detective page. It is private information now rather than public.

Have I been oblivious to the change and just noticed it?

Is there a reason for the change?

Just not thinking clearly today I guess.

Yep, Andrea and Greyling, they've always been private.

Actually I am sure they used to be public, because I would see people with missions for the PC and the lib when I was still based in NY and wonder what that was about.

Ok, now I am confused.

I agree with Ara that we could see them before, I know I answered Newbie questions about that question "why to detectives have missions"

Then this morning I log in and do not see the missions on the public part of the detective tab.

When two people almost immediately said no, I thought I must have been wrong. Now I am not sure again.

But it doesn't make sense that we could have seen each other's, because when new players have asked about missions they've always asked "what is this thing with missions I have on my detective page", never in reference to "hey I see someone has a mission about a book or a package can you tell me what this is?".

I asked a couple of others because I couldn't remember for sure myself. I had thought that I did NOT see other people's missions. In fact I only ever recall seeing people's saved favors in their bios.

The others I've asked concur. No, we have not been able to see people's missions. Just their saved favors. *grins* Perhaps it was wishful thinking, although I cannot think of any reason that info would be useful to any besides the individual who has it.

Also with the new expansion info you see under missions, it might be too revealing if it was on the public detective page.

I'm pretty sure we WERE able to see them. But I agree with reda as to why they are now invisible.

I have to go with "not visible" here. The newbie questions I ran across were usually because they saw the section in their own bio with the Missions and wanted to know what it was about.

Disclaimer*
I am NOT the most observant sleuth anymore and often miss little things..oh...like the trailer for the new expansion on the log in screen.

*wonders if the mystery of visible or not will ever be solved*
