Doppleganger= Imposter for those not in the know.

There's a new detective on Sleuth called Detective Emerald Devon. The most surprised person to notice this was the player who played Lady Emerald Devon for a year that we all know and love.

I dunno if this is somebody's idea of a cruel joke, or a patronizing tribute to LED, or you always envied her greaty-great name and now have seized the chance to make it your own. However, everybody should be aware of the fact that the new Emerald Devon is not, in fact, LED.

I will therefore be referring to this player as New Emerald Devon, or NED.

Don't do anything too kooky now NED. Oh yes. We are watching!
And while we don't know who you are, we DO know who you are NOT.

Righty right!

I think you're thinking of Emerald Drew, BadAss. NED is brand new, 0 exp points.

Yes Bad Ass you ARE mistaken. Emerald Drew is a player we all know and like. I have not confused the two.

NED is 2 days old, unsubscribed, and has 0 XP.

If you are going to clone a recently retired veteran player's name, not subscribe, and not play a case, I have to wonder exactly what the intentions are.

Clearly NED has had the opportunity to play at least 6 cases + favors as an unsubscribed detective and has chosen not to do so.

And while NED may have the best intentions in mind, just in case NED doesn't, everyone should be aware that NED is not LED.

As for you Secret Roadkill, you can refer to LED anyway you like...until she encounters you in a bike vs car showdown that I am pretty sure will not go your way hehe.

entirely off subject because, well I'm depressed and i'm hijacking the thread. Sorry. :0(

Anyways...

Wasn't there a Buffy episode called doppelgangers or doppelgangland? Nobody could talk and the only way to stop the baddies was for the princess (buffy) to scream.

Ok back to your regularly scheduled message boards.

I remember that one. Wasn't there some scooby-doo-ish thing about screaming into a magic scream box?

*goes to a Circle K and screams "Where's the princess?"*

*leaves with a pocketfull of complimentary 'ok nutjob' sushi*
