How do I get an informer?
Can I lose my license if i have too many cases quit?What can happen?
Can an accessory, like doctors bag, help you find more evidence, becouse it increases smarts bonus?How do bonus points help?

OK, gzhu, first of all, welcome.

Second of all, I recomend reading the FAQs, reading the welcome newbies thread, and then doing the tutorial. If after that you have more questions, please feel free to post.

Nothing bad happens when you quit a case, but 3 false accusations and your detectives is retired.
Equipment enhances your skills. Be it smart or tough or charming. Each skill helps in a different way. I'd be happy to answer more specific questions!

And you get "informers" (we call the contacts), by doing the townies favors. You get a chance to do a favor for every four cases you solve successfully (including the previous favor). You will get 2 per city....eventually!
