For those, who have gotten all the smart skills and a set of charm (or tough) skills finished, suggestions on what to go for next? Should I try for faction skills or just start working on the other interview set? As a side note, I have gotten Hypnotism and Basic Interrigation already. I'm considering getting Underworld Connections but I'm not sure if I should go for something more immediately useful, like Lock Picking. Suggestions?

I would go for lock picking as the next thing. Running into locked doors is frustrating. With lock picking, you get to go in and answer one question, either alibi or motive, without actually asking that suspect. It saves you one question and can mean the difference between getting that suspect to finger someone else, or clamming up.

I will add to the crowd here and say Lock Picking first, then Underworld Connections, then back to more Tough skills.

Survilance and safe cracking can wait if you are in an agency that already has detectives with them.

Pick pockets is the least useful skill, a definate last pick.

i´ve found Pick pocketing quite useful.
So i´d say Lock Picking, Surveillance, Underworld Connectiona and then Pick Pocketing.
Safe Cracking has been most useless to me.

Safe Cracking is great if your agency is hunting for treasures, but otherwise its not useful for individual cases or villain hunts (At least as far as we know yet!)

I love the combination of lockpicking and hypnotism. Sometimes when I'm really lucky, I'll get all 10 or 11 suspects only asking a few questions to suspects. That really helps later on in the case trying to get witness evidence.

well, Rain, I posted a thread before on this subject but it got removed. This subject is still classified as "Top Secret" and we're all clueless here I fear...

Let's see what tomorrow will bring to us...

Thanks for the advice everyone.

tollo - You would work on just getting the faction skills or finish the tough set before getting the faction skills? As I originally mentioned, I have only Basic Interrogation at the moment.

Tz, I recently asked the same thing, and majority of responses were to get my Underworld Connections next. So, that's what I'm saving up for.

Though quite a few people said that mixing tough/charm was a good idea, I also received feedback that it was not necessary. To be honest, I have no charm skills and all my tough skills. I solve a quite a bit of AI cases without much problem. So I don't see an immediate need to mix the two.

I think my gear helps a lot though. I saved up to get some better gear from the factions which gave me an 18 in toughness. (now a 21 thanks to the Prince!)

I will probably stick with the faction skills first, and once I'm done with those I'll starting learning my charms.

unless, of course, some cool new skills develop from hunting arch villains!

I see you´re smart and charming so you may not need tough skills, I think you have better chances with charm. So i´d say faction skills first and after that rest of the tough.
That´s what I did, being very charming.
