Two ways....first, do the cases that are positive for the faction you want in with. You know them cut scenes that has the lady with the spy glass? Those are faction cases, and along bottom it will tell you what faction it is positive for, and what faction will make u negative.
Once you know that faction well enough, you can begin doing "little jobs" for them, which help you get in with them more :) Good luck!

Of course, since you are unsubscribed and cannnot travel, you can only get in good with the NY factions: Arcannum Brotherhood, Cosa Nostra, and Order of Socrates
