What is the purpose of themes?

if u click on the themes, you have a choice of how u want your background to look. Classic Sleuth or the Shady look. :)

I'm not sure exactly how to unlock the other themes, Juana, but you will be able to do it within the game, somehow.

I think those other themes are connected to the part of the expansion that is not revealed yet, I guess we all just need to be patient

do we need to be subscribed to have access to the other themes when they unlock?

The last two themes on the list (Secret #1 and Secret #2) are not yet available in the game. All of the others are.
