How do you get people to talk?

I can solve the mystery by getting the tailor to talk. But I don't have the right skills. It says I need to convince him. How?? How can I possibly solve the mystery if I can't get him to talk?

By convincing him, they mean using your tough or charming interview skills.
I see that you are still pretty new, so you migh try doing easier cases first. The tutorial and the Newbie GAQ is also very helpful
