first off I want to thank all for sticking up for Gibbs in the recent bad encounter we had with an agent.
Now just to clear the matter up I would like to post Gibbs side of the story.
As like any agency. We have policies that we expect to be followed. And every new agent is told to read these policies when they are accepted into Gibbs, as a matter of fact our recruiting board even says to go and read our website.
Our policies on our website read as follows:

We don't have a lot of Policies, but we have a few!
All members are required to:

1) Help with rent, $100.00 a week, or whatever you can spare! (1st week free, ON AGENCY FOR JOINING) **AT THIS TIME RENT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED, IF YOU ALL JUST PUT IN WHAT YOU CAN WHEN YOU ARE IN NEW YORK, JUST IN CASE YOU YOURSELVES GET IN TROUBLE WITH SHADY OR NEED MONEY FOR TRAVELING WE WILL BE ALRIGHT. IF THIS DOES NOT WORK THE RENT WILL BE REINSTATED. **

2) Check active treasure hunts each day, start any that you can, you are reimbursed for the fee. You must PM Mkjrdallas or Coda and tell them which Hunt you started if you want to be reimbursed!

3) Check agency message boards each day. You never know what might have come up in the last few hours!

4) Log in EACH DAY OR AT LEAST EVERY OTHER DAY to solve cases and to check if we need help. Absences are expected and if you know you are going to be gone please put a thread on the message board of the dates you will be gone, or PM one of the directors of your upcoming absence. If you become AWOL for 1 week, and have not notified a director in advance as to why you will be AWOL, you will be warned in a PM from a Director, If you then are still AWOL at the end of the second week you will be kicked out of the Agency! There is NO EXCEPTIONS! It is just not fair to the agents that work real hard each day. Even if you become a director there is a way to have you removed from the agency, believe us we have done it!

5) Have a good sense of humor and like to have fun!

6) PROMOTIONS:

A) ROOKIE TO AGENT immediately upon joining

B) AGENT TO OFFICER at 2000 experience points

C) AGENT/OFFICER TO DIRECTOR if you solve a treasure hunt, make a major money contribution to the agency or last 1 year with this agency! Which ever comes first!

Now, Kugirl never let any director know that she was going on vacation.
She never posted a message on our message board, thus we did not know where she was. She was gone and we sent her a message saying that we have to kick her out and no reply. Thus we made room for some new agents that wanted to join us by kicking her out when her 2 weeks was up.
I truly hope she had a nice time with her father on vacation but it only takes a couple of seconds to post a message that she will be on vacation and that is our rules. we have had too many agents that play for a couple of weeks and then disappear because they lose interest.
Now we sacrificed our blood hound to kick her out! That was our lose.
Then when she does come back to sleuth she sends me and Piper some pretty rude messages calling us names.
I am truly sorry that everyone at Sleuth had to put up with her over this and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that defended us and I wanted to let everyone knows Gibbs side of all of this.
We are a great agency and dont want our friends at sleuth to think bad of us over this matter.
As I told KUgirl we have rules because if you dont your agency will not do well.

Once again Thank you all!

Thanks to everyone for all your support and BadAss for making me smile.
I love this game and the community which is helpful and freindly.
Mkjrdallas is a fair person and very understanding and has helped me so much, I can be a bit daft round the edges, and Gibbs is a great agency to work for.

I never had a moment where I thought bad of the Gibbs agency. It was great to see how everyone came together to support you. Good luck with your future recruits!

The only people who had issues with Gibbs was KU Girl and her mutlitude of alter egos that kept popping up.

I am envious of your bloodhound though. If you ever find yourself with too many, send one over to The Firm, we'll take it !!! LOL

Roamie, the dumb dog, barked too much and ate too much anyway, and he hated to travel so we always had to leave him in NY, he wasn't worth the trouble!! lol That we had to pay to have the kennel keep him when we all left NY.

I really don't think anyone thought ill of Gibbs. I was out of town when the whole thing happened, but I did read through the paper trail. I don't think anyone ever thought poorly of Gibbs. Your policies aren't unfair, or all that unusual, except maybe for the automatic rookie to agent thing. ;)

I do see that KUgirl's new detective says she is trying to make things right and work out a repayment with you guys. I hope it all works out best for every one involved. We all make mistakes and poor choices, it's whether we learn from them or not that matters. I hope that Sleuth Lover is as sincere as she appears to be. :)

I agree with cfm , lets give the girl a chance. She obviously loves this game and hopefully learns from this experience.

No one thinks bad of Gibbs in this. I'm inspired by the community that we have that stood up together. I think that's a very cool thing that we have here. It's part of why I love Sleuth so much. There are so many great people and so many great friends here. It's more than just a game for me now, it really is a community. :0)

I hate it when dogs become victim over a divorce of some sort. :)

Either this whole thing happened while I was gone, or I have been sleeping. What it looks like to me is a simple case that probably has happened to most agencies. Someone joins your agency, and then suddenly is gone. Eventually you boot this person.

Sometimes people then turn in to turds. Some turds create alter ego's.

However there seems to be a public apology, and I'd say if the dog is paid back then moving back is the thing to do.

I concur that I doubt anyone thinks badly of Gibbs, as we know how this stuff works. They have always been known as a group of standup players, and most of us would put little weight on the words of a disgruntled fired agent.

I still feel bad about the dog though.
