Yeah....the favor remains there until you do it. It doesnt leave. Unless you travel to another city, then it disappears and u have to redo the pattern

what she meant (I think) is that if you are holding a favor (or u did not ask), but then solve 3 more cases, you loose the previous one

Well, I asked everyone , dear boy , and so far no-one at all has any cases for me to solve. It's quite a dilemma!

Manfred, have you completed 4 cases? The first favor you receive will be after completing (solving) four cases. Then, if you solve your favor, you only have to complete three more cases to receive a favor.

The key to favors is you must complete 4 cases to receive your next favor. If you solve the previous favor, it counts as one of these 4. If you do not solve your favor, then you must solve 4 "normal" cases before you will receive your next favor.

Case + Case + Case + Case = Favor

OR

Favor + Case + Case + Case = Favor

Nope, if you don't ask for a favour when it's due and start another case instead, it overrides the pattern. But if you do ask, you can continue to do cases while holding the favour, and it stays there :)

I see, then after my next third case the favor/case should come forth?..

A) Did you have a favour yesterday?
B) Have you solved every case successfully?
