Hi,
I am no longer getting skill points when I complete a mission.
Is this normal? I am experience 2020, age 23, skill 63.
I did get a skill point when I did a favor, but not when I do one of the three free missions.

it is normal to not receive skill points for every case solved.
Because receiving points is directly related to the amount of Experience Points that you have.
In the very beginning, you receive 1 skill point for each time you gain 10 experience points or something (not exactly 100% sure on the math). Then after you reach a certain amount of total Experience Points, say 200, then it will be 1 skill point for each time you gain 20 experience points. and it keeps going on and on...i hope you understand this. and these are not concrete numbers. they are guesstimates used to illustrate this point so don't take them as fact.
Eventually, it will take you 40000 points to get 1 skill point, from what i've heard in previous threads regarding this matter.
keep solving cases and you will eventually get another point.

Sushi Kitty's right. It takes me an average of 40-50,000 (and NO, I am NOT kidding!!!!) experience points just to earn one skill point. As your experience increases, the points get harder to obtain. So choose your skills wisely.
