Just 2 questions:
1. If you submit a Featured mystery and an admin (or editor) accepts it. You can have a free subscription?
2. If so, how long is the subscription?
Just curious.
Thanks in advance,

Yes you can get a subscription, how long? I dont know. Just remember an FM is a HUGE undertaking *underlines and highlights huge*. Consider all options before writing one.

I think I've heard that the length of the subscription may depend on the quality of the FM. I know the term "quality" might sound a bit vague, but I think it might have a bit to do with how well it's written, how interesting it is and how well it plays with the frame of what is possible to do with these kinds of mysteries, as well as which type of level it turns out to be when scripted. Most of the available FMs vary a great deal from the regular cases, which is also what makes them such a treat to play.

You can get some idea of how different these mysteries are from the regular cases by playing the sample FM available to non-subscribers. Also the FM guideline overview in the "Submitting Content"-section can give you sort of an outline of what is needed. And you're always welcome to ask lots more questions on the boards if there is something you want elaborated upon - could be some of those who've written one can give you a few tips :)
