Definitely build up all your smart skills, now that you have your charming skills. as woody1 said, stay away from touch skills - until you have all your smart skills, too.

Yeah, thread gets my vote too (a little late, but hey what can you do) and then maybe Lock Picking before starting on getting the rest of the smart skills :)

why stay away from tough skills? is it bad?

No, it's just more handy to focus on getting either all the tough interview skills OR all the charming interview skills first instead of mixing them. This is because having the advanced inteview skills gives you a higher chance of success when trying to get the suspects to talk some more, and therefore also more helpful when working the harder levels. And once the skill points start getting harder to come by, it's nice not to have it be the advanced skill that you're struggling to get :)

So tough skills aren't bad to have, if that was what you were wondering (it's actually a tiny bit better to be tough than charming), and eventually it's pretty useful to have all the skills so you can switch between being tough and charming according to what works best with each suspect and towny ;)

Or did you meant why stay away from tough skills even though hotcokko01 already has Advance Sweet Talking and Advanced Rule Bending?
