Ben, is it possible to set up an RSS feed for the message boards please?

It would be nice to automatically get each new post sent out so everyone can keep caught up on topics here.

It would also be helpful on the agency boards as well.

*Agrees there's no point and hugs cfm* You rock, lady!
And R.Anstett, I'd like to point out you've missed something that made your point: "Roamie, logging in to see the new messages takes up a spot on the server.

That spot could be used by a new unsubbed player who is debating on the idea of subscribing or not.

Or me not logging into that spot might make things go that much faster while you are doing your cases." redundant.

You can actally check for new messages WIHTHOUT logging on! Genius, isn't it?

To LED's misunderstanding.

Perhaps you do not understand that when you are reading the message boards you are still taking up server space.

It does not matter if you are logged in or not. Not logging in to read messages will only affect those unsubscribed people who can not do cases while 60+ people are logged in.

Number of people logged in DOES NOT equal people using the servers.

I don't really know much about how server space would be effected as being logged on vs. not logged on, but I do see the sense in how even being not logged on would take up bandwidth, just by browsing the site.

I think it would be a nice luxury for people to have the option of subscribing to it (optional because of people that don't want crowded inboxes, or maybe even have the option of subscribing to a daily digest of new messages...), but for *after* the expansion, as I'm sure Ben's got a lot to go with right now.

But after everything with the expansion is out and taken care of, I could see it being a way to take up less server space for unsubbed players. Until then, though, I do see it as unnecessary, but a good suggestion to chew on later.
