Ok, I can;t beleive I am posting this, but my question is this: how well does hypnotims work with a tough detective?

I already have all tough/smart skills, no charming skills as I am tough detective.

Just wondering

Hmmm, very interesting guestion in its depth. But I think it can be hardly answered, someone should have both archtype's detectives to see the difference. And maybe archtype and equipment doesn't count with hypnotism.
I'm not so skilled as you, but I have the Hypnotism already and I know how it works. My advice is, take Underworld Connection as the first Charming skill and then Hypnotism. Both of them will help earn points for rest of charming skills and both of them are much much better (my opinion) as the most useless skill here, Pick Pocketing, the Tough one.

If you only need to know how Hypnotism work, then: With every question about motive, it will be automatically used Hypnotism, and if success then you get exactly one more suspect's name (maybe already known, of course, as usually).

I used hypnotism with another detective in my agency. But this detective is charming and has all the charming skills and gear. And I know that sometimes even then it won't work with a certain suspect.

I guess, my question is if it would work at all with no charming skills or gear.

Yeah and pick pocketing has got to be the most useless skill out there...

i have noticed it doesnt really make a difference if you are tough or charming as to how well it works. I have a tough and a charming character and its about the same
