Elsey walks into the local bar, The Tricky Mister, and asks her old buddy Cyrus to pour her a drink.
"Something girly," she asks him. "Something the boys will laugh at."
She smiles and looks around the room. She thinks about who else might walk into the room tonight. She turns back to her girly drink and waits for Sir James to arrive, as he undoubtedly will at some point.
Just then, the front door opens and in walks....

Daru gives her a warm hug and says "Nothing to be sorry for Angel, it is all good" They hug and Daru pulls back and says "Friends?" Angel smiles, and says "Friends!" They walk out the door, laughing and talking as if nothing ever happened.

Makensie turns back around at the bar and says "There sure has been some interesting things happening here at this bar" Cyrus says, "You're not lyin'!"

Jstkdn was fiddling around with something at the end of the bar, and a big noise came....

Makensie and Cyrus look over and see Jstkdn laid out on the floor. Makensie says "What are you doing?" Jstkdn starts laughing and says drunkenly "I dont know!! I fell off my chair"

In the meantime, Daru hands Angel a bestfriend locket...Daru says "Remember u gave this to me?" Angel says "Wow, u still have that?" Daru says "I never got rid of it"

Angel hugs her and they walk back out of the bar......

Makensie and Cyrus get caught up in Daru and Angel, and forgot about Jstkdn on floor. They go to help her and Jstkdn is gone....

...Only a fragment of a small zoot hat and some cactus spikes remain. A note on the table says....

Makensie runs out of the bar and looks up and down the street, no sign of Jstkdn anywhere or the creep who has her.

notices something she didn't before. Cactus spikes? Hmmmmmm! It is someone who has a triffid......Makensie picks the cactus spike up and....

Reese walks in with her hand on her gun and says "What's going on in here today?" Makensie says "Oh Reese, my old buddy, we have a problem" Reese says, sarcastically, "Sleuthtown is full of THAT, what is it this time?" Makensie says "Jstkdn has been kidnapped I think and I found this cactus spike and a note" Reese says "Well dont just stand there...go to the librarian and see if he can check that writing out for you" Makensie says "Ofcourse...."

As Reese watches her run out of the bar....

..pricks her finger.
"OUCH she yells" as adrop of blood falls to the floor.
The only triffids are kept Behind Closed Doors except for MarcusAndrews triffid. Mademoiselle Fleur and The Mad Ones triffids down in delhi.
Perhaps I'd better look for another clue.

bloody footprint. Makensie noticed when she came back from checking the writing. Reese was still there having a drink at the bar and turns and says "Well? What did you find?" Makensie says "The banker clammed up on me, too bad I wasn't in London...I could ask all the questions I wanted" Reese says, "Hmmmm....hopefully someone comes in who can help with that"

Makensie walks by the blood spot on the floor and notices a footprint...Makensie says "Look! A footprint! I'm afraid I won't be of any help there either"

Makensie walks up to the bar, giving up, and says "Gimme a bourbon and coke Cyrus" Cyrus says, "Yes mam, coming up"

Reese and Makensie sit there trying to figure out how they're going to help Jstkdn , when in walks.....
