Elsey walks into the local bar, The Tricky Mister, and asks her old buddy Cyrus to pour her a drink.
"Something girly," she asks him. "Something the boys will laugh at."
She smiles and looks around the room. She thinks about who else might walk into the room tonight. She turns back to her girly drink and waits for Sir James to arrive, as he undoubtedly will at some point.
Just then, the front door opens and in walks....

"Did you hear that sniffing sound" Makensie turns and looks toward the doorway, and there is Angel, with tear running down her face. She says "I just saw Daru leave...she isn't coming back is she?"

Makensie gently says , "We don't know Angel, come on in and sit down,I'll buy you a drink"

Angel walks in...

and sits down. She says, "Daru, We were best friends until highschool. I don't think I could make it if i never got the chance to say i was sorry. I was not the best friend our freshman year. Cfm enters the bar, intending to ask Cyrus a few questions. She's heard the rucous around here for the past few days and has been trying to avoid it, but her clients lies have forced her arrival at last. As she walks across the room, she feels a small wet drop grace her cheek. Thinking she is imagining it at first, she wipes the drop from her face and glances around and whispers, "Angel."

She sets her briefcase and cane on the nearest table and, walks to the stairs along the wall.

She climbs the stairs and makes her way across the catwalk above the stage where she finds Angel staring down at the others, looking as though she wanted to run, scream, and cry all at the same time.

Cfm curls Angel in her arms guides her down the steps, collecting her belongings before they head out the door together.

Cfm glances behind her and calls out to the other girls in the bar, "You guys find any triffids around here that has any goods on Milton, let me know. That man is driving me mad!"

once more the door swings open and it is angel. sh seems to have left her glove. She lets one last tear fall. She turns to leave...

Daru runs through the door. Angel runs to her and hugs her.

She says, "I am so sorry. Can we please talk. It has been awhile."

"Sure, but i can't stay long she says."

Angel finally had her chance and she wasn't going to let it pass her by.

She starts by saying,...

and Makensie says "Angel" Angel turns back and says "Yes?" "Cheer up, it will all be ok and remember, your fellow detectives are always right here" Angel says, "yeah, thanks Makensie" and walks out.

Jstkdn yells, "You got that right we're always here. Can't seem to get out of this friggin joint" Makensie has no idea where Jstkdn is yelling from. She turns and sees her....

at the end of the bar,doing lord knows what ,when Angel and Daru come back in.....Angel wants to talk and Daru says "I do really have to get going, that man is waiting for me, we had a delay so wasnt able toleave BUT I will listen to what you have to say Angel...." Angel says....
