Hiding?

So, someone goes into hiding… I assume that this does not mean that they are automatically guilty? I have also managed to find someone who knows where she is, but he comments that he does not think she is the murderer. Is that just flavor text or can it be taken at face value? (My suspicions lie elsewhere, but I cannot accuse even though I have a PE and WE as I have no motive. I am just grasping at straws as this was an Incredibly Hard and I am so close to getting it.)

No it doesnt mean they are guilty. Its random and the wording from the townspeople is just words, nothing to be taken to heart.

the text is just for fun. they may or may not be guilty. check your alibis, we and pe always!
if they are in hiding and they are guilty, you better find them!

In higher levels try to ask motive question first before any other question. atleast till you have all suspects (+motive for client). Other wise you might want to accuse, but cant cause you miss the motive.

If they hide it doesnt mean they are guilty or even know anything. Try the townies to bring them back. Or use the faction skill for underworld connections.
