YAY!!!!

I'll be meeting up with a sleuth celebrity of some sort. (My 7th sleuther)

Who oh who could it be? Once I have met him, I'll post pictures for you to guess who it could be. Assuming I come home unharmed that is. :)

Hint: his avatar is his own mug. And I have never met him before.

Now I wish he would only be a bit more specific on where I am supposed to meet him and his wife. These are directions that I do know: He'll arrive early tuesday morning, but he is not sure what time, just that it's early. And he'll be staying in a hotel with a pool, but he forgot the name.

I know this is a detective game, but.... :)

Travelogue

My first impression of Crunch....that's him, why in the hell is he giving me a monkey? Coin dropped a few seconds later, as I wasn't expecting being given the chimp. And truthfully all I had been thinking about for 20 minutes straight was not meeting Crunch, but the fact that shouldn't have drank 1 liter of water before I left, and how badly I needed to pee.

Mrs. Patty :) had fallen asleep. As I needed a caffeine fix real bad, we hung out in the hotel cafe waiting for her to get ready. Talked for a while, about non-sleuth related stuff.

Hotel was a bit further out of the center, so I couldn't show off my "I know Amsterdam like the back of my hand" skills. Mrs. Patty wanted to go to Kalverstraat (on our monopoly board, "Boardwalk") one of the main shopping areas. Crunchie and I haven't seen many shops and hung out outside of the shops (why is it that most sleuthers I met, are also smokers???? Most of which addicts, 1 of which casual. Only 2 were non-smokers.) The talk was strictly Sleuth. Crunchie was officially initiated to "the other side." Sleuths that met real life people, and things changing. I was also the first internet person he met, so I hope I made a non-scary impression.

Crunchie and I ended up in a cafe (no, not a coffee shop), while Mrs. Patty kept shopping. More sleuth talk. Headed over to an area called the Jordaan, walked around there for a bit. (The Jordaan is my favorite area in Amsteram.) We got discouraged seeing the line at the Anne Frank house. So we went to the cat cabinet (house boat full of stray cats), unfortunately the cats don't work on Wednesdays. We figured that the cats, one day a week, were really dogs.

Hung out at the Jordaan some more. Crunch and Mrs. Patty went to the Anne Frank house and are probably now on their way over to the hotel to meet the friends that they are actually in town for. :)

Crunchie and Mrs. Patty are great people!!!!!

Yay!

Sounds like a nice little escapade.

Glad to know the infamous Master Thread Hijacker is as fun to be around for real as he seems to be in here.
