Quitting Cases

I recently had to quit a case because I couldn't accuse the suspect. Does your detective get retired for quitting cases or only for false acusations? If so, after quitting how many cases does this happen? If not, how does it affect the detective?

no your detective can not get retired by quitting a case only if you falsely accuse on the third time. However the shady character can help in that aspect.

Yeah, Kay's right, you won't get retired from quitting cases. The only thing that happens when quitting is that you don't get any experience points and you don't get payed - oh, and then you'll have to do another case before getting to do a favour case :)
